Criteria:

The Distinguished Service Cross is reserved to commemorate the real life actions of a clan member.

The act or acts of heroism must have been notable and involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her peers.

The Distinguished Service Cross must be issued for a provable real life incident, typically one while serving in the real Armed Forces.
